1/11/2024 0 Comments Sweetwater cool breeze![]() ![]() Over the course of the event our oyster steaming volunteers, supporting the great work of Erica Russo Davis Low Country Catering, will be shuttling oysters and clams from the steamer to the table and helping to keep the tables clean. What to bring: Be sure to bring sunscreen, camping or beach chairs, quilts, yard games (lawn darts prohibited), a cooler (outside food or beverages permitted, we’re cool like that), reusable water bottle, oyster knife and gloves (we’re providing them, but it’s always nice to have your own), an identification card (if you’re drinking), a jacket, and anything else you might enjoy on a cool, low-country (almost) spring afternoon!įood: When you arrive at the event, you will see long tables set up with gloves, oyster knives, and hot sauce. Later there will be delicious white bean chili, shrimp and grits, and salad from Erica Russo Davis Low Country Catering, and more! Remember, limited quantities! ![]() VIP/Sponsor Guests: The VIP/Sponsor area (Mercer House) opens at 1:30 PM, there you find wine, an ASW Distillery signature Oyster Roast cocktail, SweetWater Brewing Company canned beer, a Sweet Grass Dairy Cheese cheese table. We will give each guest a ticket for a pulled pork BBQ sandwich or Brunswick stew. Only patrons with a VIP wrist band will be able to access the VIP area. Please reuse! Only patrons with a wristband will be able to get a beer. Each guest may pick up pint glasses complimentary of Sweetwater Brewing at the beer table. Guests ages 21 and up will get a wristband for beer when they check-in. We will be checking IDs at the registration table. We will be able to look up your purchase using your last name. After 2 PM, we will have two lines for VIS, Sponsor, and General Admission guests. Getting in: VIP/Sponsor registration starts at 1:15 PM. Parking is very limited and we do not encourage driving after drinking. After turning onto Grove Point Road, you will drive approximately 2.5 miles to a white gate at which point the paved road will turn to gravel.
